It uses AI to instantly generate personalized meal and restaurant suggestions based on your unique preferences, making group meals a breeze.

How to Use the Eat Mud App: Your Step-by-Step Guide

The Eat Mud App is designed to be simple and intuitive. Just follow these easy steps and let the AI do the heavy lifting!

Step 1: Set Up Your Profile

First, personalize your dining experience. In the home page, you could see profile icon.  Click on that, and you will redirect to this page.  In the "My Food Profile" section, you can input all your key preferences and restrictions. Easily select from a list of common Food Allergies like Peanuts, Soy, or Milk. You can also define your Taste Preferences such as Vegetarian, Vegan, or Keto, and even add your own custom preferences.

Step 2: Define Your Dining Scenario


On the main screen, simply tell the app about your current dining situation. You can enter the Number of People and your total or Per Person Budget. This ensures all the suggestions are within your financial comfort zone.

Step 3: Scan the Menu and Add Friends


This is where the magic happens! Snap a picture of the restaurant's menu under the "Menu Images" section. The app's AI will analyze the items and prices.

If you're dining with a group, have your friends share their "My Food Profile" QR codes. Just tap "Scan Others Profiles" to include their preferences. This guarantees the suggestions avoid any food allergies or dislikes within the entire group.

Step 4: Get Your Suggestions!

Once you have your menu and profiles ready, simply tap "Get Suggestions." The app will quickly process the information and provide a list of Suggested Items that meet everyone's needs and budget. It even provides a breakdown of the total cost so you can see your Cost Breakdown at a glance.  You could regenerate result if it does not fit your needs.

Currently, all suggestions are generated by Gemini. While it provides some great ideas, please note that the accuracy may vary in this version. We're planning to upgrade to even more accurate results in the future!
